I haven't told you what I do, have I?
I run.
Not really, running is really more of a concept than an action. Confusing, but it is true.
When you have seen what I've seen, you are always on your guard.
I carry a knife.
Many people go through life completely unaware of the dangers around them, and consequently
they never carry much more than their keys as weapons. Even fewer carry a gun.
You should.
Even if these Entities never notice you, regular thugs might.
Or the Proxies.

Sightline
Have you ever seen anything that seemed a little off?
Out of the corner of your eye?
I have. Usually in the daytime, oddly enough. I saw something tall...
It didn't, at first, seem too bad. But, I couldn't seem to look at it directly.
Odd, don't you think?
I never felt like i was in danger. I did feel a bit uneasy, but it was never a feeling of fear.
A feeling of purpose, perhaps.
When I think back, it seems I ignored my instincts. I distracted myself with television, or video games. Just guilty pleasures, I never had a problem. Just clarifying.
I was, and am, well in touch with reality.

Hey guys.
My name is Matt Behren. These are the chronicles of my troubles.
When I was young, I was told a story. It was a story that shouldn't have been told.
It was a trap.
I don't want to write, but I feel I have to. They call it 'the notebooks'. Apparently that means I'm stage 3, so to speak...
It's far too late for me.
I hope that by indulging my need to write, I may prevent others from suffering as I have.
As I will.
That bump in the night? The crack of a twig in the dark woods? They are not real.
They are echoes of what was there before.
They are not real.
They are not real.
They are not real.
They are not real.
Theyarenotreal.
Theyarenotreal.
Theyarenotreal.

Do humans inherently have worth?
There are three different kinds of human worth. Fiscal worth, moral worth, and spiritual worth.
* Fiscal worth is the measurement of a person's possessions, and can be the simplest way to measure worth. But it's not always accurate. I have personally noticed that some of the poorer people of the world are the most generous, which leads to the next type of human worth.
* Moral worth is measured by the way you treat other people, and is a more accurate than fiscal worth, but slightly harder to measure if you don't really know the person. For example; if someone cheats at a game, it shows that they have little respect for the other person, which obviously is bad. An action like this might lead some to have a lower opinion of the cheater, lowering his moral worth.
* Spiritual worth is the idea that someone has worth simply because they are human. This is where opinions start flying. Mine is that spiritual worth has more to do with the balance of negative to positive in a person, like yin and yang. In this regard it is similar to moral worth, but a little deeper. If someone is constantly negative about everything, then it affects the people around him negatively. Of course the reverse is true. When you spread negativity, you are a burden to those around you, which makes you less valuable in the long run.
